Landscape: Land is flat with plains covering approximately 75 % of the country. But you can count up to 22 000 rivers and streams and almost 3000 lakeshere. About one third of our land area is occupied by forests. There are no mountains in Lithuania.

OUR TOWN Kazlų Rūda is located in the southern part of Lithuania. It is a smalltown (population - 7,330)surrounded by forests. A railway line crosses the town and divides it into almost equal parts. The main activitiesdeveloped in Kazlų Rūdamunicipality are primary wood processing, manufacture of wooden articles, stoves and burners, food industry.
