  2. 2. Baseball is a bat -and-ball game played between 2 teams of 9 players who take turns batting and fielding. It is played on a large field covered natural or artificial surfaces , except for the area called corridor line where offensive players race tonreach the bases. WHAT IS IT?
  3. 3. 1. Foul line: 2 straight kines drawn on the groundfrom home plate to the outfield fence. 2. Infield: is the baseball diamond plus a region behind it. 3. On deck circle: the position where the next batter wait. 4. Pitcher´s mound: is where the pitcher stands when throwing the pitch. 5. Base: there are 4.One for each point in the diamond. 6. Coach`s box: is the space where the first base coach and third coach stands. SOME CONCEPTS

BASIC RULES • Outs: Batter: -When a batter get 3 strikes -The ball is thrown to the first-basementand this touches the base with their foot while the ball is in their glove or hand. -Any member of the fielding team tags the batter with the ball or the glove containing the ball before they get safely to first base. Any base runner: -The base runner is tagged out while off base. -The base runner is forced out before arriving at the next base. • Strikes and fouls: -A ball thrown into the strike zone that is not swung at but called a strike by the umpire -A ball hit foul.
