What’s a Dingbat? It's a kind of picture puzzle. Each picture
represents a word, phrase or name. This Dingbats card game is best played
with three or more players.
The set of 56 Dingbats cards are from galleries 1 and 2 at the Grammarman
site: http://www.grammarmancomic.com/dingbats.html . They were created by
teen students at British Council, Bangkok.
I suggest you laminate the cards for durability.
How to play:
The cards are shuffled and placed face down in the middle.
The first player takes the top card and looks at it. She then shows the card
to the other players, but keeps the answer concealed.
The first player to correctly guess the Dingbats wins the round and keeps
that card. Players have a maximum of 3 guesses each.
If no one guesses correctly, the first player keeps the card.
Play moves to player number two, and the game proceeds in the same way
until a pre-agreed time limit is reached.
The winner is the player with the most cards.
Hope you enjoy playing the Dingbats card game.
