14. 19. Snippet from Beirut But... I assure you that since my training with Dogs Trusts in March, I have learned a lot and we have achieved a lot more. It was indeed a wonderful experience and taught me a lot of things. The main thing that I focused on and brought back with me is the "positive" side if things! For example, before, all our dispatches showed very graphic pictures of tortured animals and the stories were too negative, but now, ever since my training we have been showing somewhat happier pictures and the stories are sad but always have a more positive side to them and we have seen that more and more people are reading our stories and enjoying the pictures. They do not "delete" the email but instead read it... Which is a great thing for us because we want people to know what is going on here, we are giving hope and showing the positive side of things and not only the negative. Also, we have made some changes to adoption procedures and that is working out much better for us and the animals! This all is making a change in people's attitudes towards Beta as a whole. Thank you for all! My kindest Regards to everyone at the Dogstrust... Joelle El-Massih Co-Founder, BETA, Lebanon
