  • Now that you mention Startup Local, we here in Indonesia have a community called #StartupLokal , a community began with twitter hashtags. We held a monthly meetups and the last one was our eight meetups, with more than 200 people coming to the meetups.

    We had over 300 new startups over the last 2 years, and 5-10 new startups every month. We are hoping that in the next 2-3 years, Indonesia will not be just a blip in the Startups radar.

  • Glad someone from the Lean Startup crowd is talking about the implications of global channels. Throwing something online means that you can find traction in far-away markets, so keeping an open mind to that potential gives us a much better chances.
