  1. 1. SUBMITTED TO :- SUBMITTED BY:- MR. Gyan Ratan Hirkane Milind Waikar MR. Abhinandan Jain
  2. 2. Contents Introduction Processing workshop Plastic processing  testing machining  edm  advantage and disadvantage  bibilography
  3. 3. Introduction Cipet is an iso 9001:2008 qms NABl 17020 accredited premier national institute devoted to academic technology support and research activities of growth of plastic and allied industries in the country. Cipet has 15 centres at various cities. All cipet centre have state of art infrastructure facilities in the area of design cad cam cae ,tooling and mould manufacturing plastic processing testing and quality control to cater to the needs of plastic and allied industries in the country.
  4. 4. functional area  Design  Cad/cam /cae  Tooling and mould manufacturing  Plastic processing  Testing and quality control
  5. 5. Plastic processing Plastic processing department at cipet centre have wide range of facilities which includes conventional plastic processing machinery state of the art advanced microprocessor controlled machinery to augument not only the academic needs but also the industry specific requirement processing division is also competent enough to undertake mould proving and molding jobwork.
  6. 6. Facilities available 1) Hot air welding facility 2) Plastic recycling facility 3) Thermoforming 4) Compression molding machine 5) Electric injection molding machine
  7. 7. Air Brake Rake Testing Air brake rake testing includes many tests performed in order to obtain considerable brake application whenever necessary. DIFFERENT TYPES OF TESTS :- CONTINUITY TEST LEAKAGE TEST MINIMUM SERVICE APPLICATIO N TEST
  8. 8. •SERVICE APPLICATION TEST •EMERGENCY APPLICATION TEST •ALARM CHAIN PULLING TEST •GUARD VAN VALVE TEST •MANUAL RELEASING TIME TEST •AUTOMATIC RELEASING TEST
  9. 9. Difference between Air and Vacuum Brake System
  10. 10. Cases Of Brake Failure • Air brake is so designed that in many cases if any failure comes into effect then the brake is automatically applied this reduces the accidents and other mishaps. AIR BRAKE IS FAILED IN SOME CASES :- • Angle cocks are closed • Air hoses not connected • Blockage of air hoses • Closed isolating cock
  11. 11. Emergency Air Brake Most air brake systems have an “emergency” position on the driver brake valve. This position dumps the brake pipe air quickly. Although the maximum amount of air which can be obtained in the brake cylinder does not vary on a standard air brake system . The rate of application is faster in “emergency”.
