Greetings, I’m John Cox, the National Business Manager of Law Image/Lexdata. This is my 2nd year supporting IAM and my 1st representing IIM. I’ve been working in and around the Information and Document Management industry since 1999 and even in that short time have seen massive changes. In fact, our company has adapted to these changes and has evolved to better support the industry.
To put this into perspective, maybe I should tell you a little about the history of our company. Law Image/Lexdata started out in 1997 by offering document reproduction to law firms in the Sydney CDB legal district. Our business model was one of being 24/7, customer focused, with instant response time and super fast turnaround times regardless of the volume. As this market grew, we recognised the extensive amount of information that firms within this industry needed to deal with, and saw the movement from the use of physical documents into electronic litigation amongst the legal industry. To keep up with trends in the market, Law Image/Lexdata expanded our capabilities to include Applied Legal Technology and eDiscovery support services, and opened new branches in Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth
As you already may be familiar, eDiscovery refers to the process where documents relevant to a legal matter are extracted, searched, sorted and published in a manner suitable for involved parties to use. Our team are experienced at dealing with this process, familiar with the necessary legal standards to which we must comply, able to provide consultation, and are a certified legal bureau in the use of Ringtail, Summation and other case management software. In fact, we are one of very few companies who have such a certification.
What you’ve just seen is just one example of what an end-to-end digitisation solution would look like.As well as digitisation and publishing solutions, we are also able to offer other services which we can shape to fit the needs of your organisation.
Printing and Copying:High volumeFast turnaround timesBlack & white and colourLegal Support Services:Approved court copier for NSW/ACT (can uplift subpoenas)Experienced legal clerking support teamAdministrative Outsourcing:Print and Mail room managementStaff outsourcing (data entry, audio typing, filing)
As you can see we have an extensive range of capabilities, but our real strength at Law Image/Lexdata is that we really listen to our clients and create tailored solutions for them. The key to our success is that we deliver on our promises and follow strict Quality Assurance procedures. We are proud to say that we now service nearly all of the top tier Law Firms and both Federal State Government Departments around Australia and the Asian Pacific region.
