Things to prepare for your Discover Scuba Diving

  1. 1. Book the DSD ahead <br>http://divefunatics.com<br>
  2. 2. The night before <br>You can afford to break routine, just for once I'm sure.<br>
  3. 3. What to do <br>1. Get a good night sleep <br>2. Drink lots of water, not alcohol <br>3. Pack your swim stuff before you hit the sack <br>4. Don't anticipate too much so you can sleep<br>
  4. 4. On that day <br>Too late to start second guessing yourself!<br>
  5. 5. Ready or not, here goes! <br>1. Don't skip breakfast <br>2. Show up on time <br>3. Listen to what the Instructor is saying <br>4. Make sure you fill up the DSD Brochure completely <br>5. Ask questions if you don't fully understand something<br>
  6. 6. During the in-water exercises <br>1. Watch the instructor demonstrate the skills <br>2. Note the steps and attributes of the skills <br>3. When it's your turn to perform, do it slowly and calmly <br>4. If you feel it wasn't perfect, ask to do it again <br>5. Don't worry, you are breathing air. Just breathe continuously.<br>
  7. 7. Time to tour and explore <br>1. Adjust your buoyancy <br>2. Remember, up is the wrong way to go <br>3. Keep calm and breathe deeply <br>4. It should be effortless so stop doing lotsa things <br>5. Watch your guage and enjoy the experience<br>
  8. 8. After the site tour <br>1. Listen to the debriefing, it is good for you <br>2. Change to your dry clothes <br>3. Log your details in the logbook page of your brochure <br>4. Laugh some more and share what  you experienced with the other participants <br>5. Let your friends and family experience it too. So tell them about it.<br>
