  1. 1. History of BIG BAZAR Big Bazaar was started by Kishore Biyani, the Group CEO and Managing Director of Pantaloon Retail Big Bazaar was launched in September, 2001 Opening stores Calcutta, Indore, Bangalore and Hyderabad in 22 days.
  2. 2. Total number of STORES of Big Bazaar  133 STORES of big bazaar in all over INDIA.  The current formats includes Big Bazaar, Food Bazaar, Electronic Bazaar and Furniture Bazaar.

Timeline 2001-four Big Bazaar stores launched within a span of 22 days in Kolkata, Indore, Bangalore and Hyderabad. 2002-Big Bazaar - ICICI Bank Card is launched. 2003-Big Bazaar enters Tier II cities with the launch of the store in Nagpur. 2004-A day before Diwali, the store at Lower Parel becomes the first to touch Rs 10 million turnover on a single day 2005-Electronic Bazaar and Furniture Bazaar are launched 2006-Navaras – the jewellery store launched within Big Bazaar stores 2007-The 50th Big Bazaar store is launched in Kanpur. Big Bazaar partners with to launch India's most popular shopping portal 2008-Big Bazaar becomes the fastest growing hypermarket format in the world with the launch of its 101st store within 7 years of launch
  4. 4. Innovations Wednesday Bazaar Big Bazaar introduced the Wednesday Bazaar concept and promoted it as “Hafte Ka Sabse Sasta Din”. It was mainly to draw customers to the stores on Wednesdays, when least number of customers are observed.

  11. 11. Complaints According to customers we are not listen complaints and if we are listen then there are no solution on that’s complaints so that’s way customers are not satisfied with BIG BAZAAR

I HAVE ADJUST MY SCRAP COUPON but alrady high rate about product big bazar. not use my scrap coupon. i have suggested to all customer please care about rate big bazar scrape coupon utilization.

Akshi on Dec 17, 2010 charging more then MRP yesterday we did purchasing from big Bazaar (Kanpur bawadi,thane) and purchased a sundrop refined oil. the they have charged the prices more then what it has been printed as MRP on the packet, although they have quoted less in the store. but while billing instead of charging what they have quoted they have charged more then the MRP.

  18. 18. Price According to people BIG BAZAAR price’s is not good. To solve this problem: See that how other stores sale same product in low price.  We increase our quantity.
  19. 19. Conti…. Many types of offers Today’s time big bazaar gives offers when any type of festival comes. But in other days there are no one offers to the customer. So big offers connect to the customer.
  20. 20. Event for customer we organized event for customer as well as faculties. This kind of things attracted to the customer. In that’s events which products is not sale that’s products we are include in our event In this event there are some kind of restriction on that like 200- Rs shoping and customer play this event. It means that kind of restriction when customer says this is ok

  22. 22. For Parking system In that’s project we working on that customer parking. Because when customer park his vehicles then heshe already pay 20- Rs. but some customer thing that we save that money and park outside of the mall. in our project we announced that if customer park his vehicles then there are free of cost vehicles washed.
  23. 23. Complaints We work on customer complaints. Who customer says that they have some kind of problem in store. Then we work on that problems and solve it and after the solve the problem we sms to that person and told that we solve the problem

Solution for that If customer give us to any kind of complaints then in one or two days to solve the problem and when problem is solve then call or sms to that person and tell that there are solve the problem and thank you. Advantages for this… Customer is satisfied for this Our service is better.
