  2. 2. The Challenge Sharp USA, leader in consumer appliances, was looking for a revamp in the design and user experience for the television section of their website. They wanted to update their look & feel to reinforce their presence as a modern, progressive brand in the digital landscape. We were asked to explore and redefine the consumer buying journey online by putting the user at the center of the experience.
  3. 3. We updated and organized their product information architecture to streamline user filtering and act as a buyer’s comparison guide online. This comparison guide helped educate the viewer and direct them to the right product for their needs. From there, the user was led swiftly to the necessary purchase information either by locating a dealer or an online authorized retailer. Planning & Strategy
  4. 4. Let the product sell itself The design needed to hit the mark of being modern and practical while also not having any distractions to take away from the products overall. We went through many different concepts from the original pitch to the final design, ultimately landing on a minimalistic style with BIG captivating imagery for the products.
  5. 5. The right tool for the job Another part of redefining the way people shop for televisions was creating the Sharp Selector. This product recommendation tool captures specific user lifestyle decisions and determines the best fitting Sharp TV for them.
  6. 6. Letting the user make the experience personal Users can choose important decision making factors like the size of the television in comparison to the room they will be putting it in, 3D, Quattron or Smart TV to reach a personalized recommendation.
  7. 7. Every feature you could ask for We made sure to highlight all of the great Sharp TV features by creating an info center that is filled with all of the unique qualities of the Sharp brand. Users can browse by the specific features they want most in their TV. Each info center page directs users to a point of purchase where users can buy a TV with their desired features.
