  1. 1. 8 Clock Ideas Page 1 1 This design is based on my designer Zaha Hadid. It’s an alarm clock that you could carry around and it is a key ring. You could place the sphere on a stand that is connected by magnets. Time adjuster and alarm adjuster will be place on near the bottom. The shape would be arrows pointing left and right. 2 This clock would have an in built CD player and also an alarm and the speakers would be at the sides of the clock. Just for an extra purpose there is a pen and pencil holder at both sides. This clock relates to my designer because it is the shear size and the materials used to make it. This clock is meanly for display. As It has no purpose except from telling time. So this has a slick and attractive design. Penny fit screws so it is easy to adjust. The clock will be weighed down by sand. The weight could be adjusted by unscrewing the base and adding or removing sand. 3 For this clock it will have a phone holder that you could put on whilst it’s charging. However the design floor for this is that you could look at the time on your phone whilst it’s charging, so the clock will be pretty pointless. The other problem is that this design does not have a huge resemblance to my designer. This has also got a very good match of design with the designer that I have picked. 4 O- Key: How to improve it or suggestions Conclusion: In conclusion I have learnt what I need to improve my designs to fit in the best of my chosen design influence and others such as my specification. For example the colour scheme could be the same as the colours used in my designers’ design or maybe I could use the colours that my target market would find appealing. I can evaluate and go through a process of elimination. Although in my opinion I think that the designs that I have come up with are far too difficult to make. Due to the limitations of the schools facilities the complexity of my ideas become more limited. Maybe by simplifying the ideas that I have come up with I can find a way to choose one idea for this page then the next one.
