Things are better in the Pratt household. Gwendolyn finds someone that she feels comfortable hanging out with, while Spencer spends the day with his father and his half-brothers. Mimi pursues love and Candy prepares for the next stage of her life.

Sims 3 The Pratts (part 5)

  1. 1. The Pratts (part 5): Sunset Valley<br />
  2. 2. The next morning is Sunday, and Gwendolyn is up before the sun.<br />
  3. 3. She takes a long bubble bath and prays that Spencer & Candy have been able to work out their differences.<br />
  4. 4. Gwendolyn is feeling a bit lonely. She’s afraid to be in the house right now, because she does not want Spencer taking out any left-over hostile feelings towards his mother on her.<br />
  5. 5. There has to be someone is this town that she can connect to and feel comfortable around.<br />
  6. 6. Gwendolyn considers going to hang out with Mimi, but that would involve going into the house and possibly running into Spencer. Then she remembers how connected she felt with Candy’s cousin Nakida.<br />
  7. 7. Gwendolyn decides to pay Nakida a visit.<br />
  8. 8. Nakida actually seems pretty pleased to see Gwendolyn.<br />
  9. 9. Nakida is delighted by the stories that Gwendolyn tells her and…<br />
  10. 10. …feels that Gwendolyn is just a pleasure to be around.<br />
  11. 11. They share a laugh and enjoy each other’s company.<br />
  12. 12. While Gwendolyn is over at Nakida’s house, Spencer goes to visit his father Sam.<br />
  13. 13. Spencer knocks and knocks, but no one answers.<br />
  14. 14. Spencer is just about to leave when his father pulls up<br />
  15. 15. Sam tells Spencer that he has someone that he wants Spencer to meet.<br />
  16. 16. Spencer has a new half-brother named Amos.<br />
  17. 17. Amos is Sam’s third son with Cassandra English.<br />
  18. 18. Spencer is not really, particularly fond of babies…<br />
  19. 19. …but Amos is sort of cute.<br />
  20. 20. It’s not long before Gwendolyn spots the beautiful play set in Nakida’s backyard.<br />
  21. 21. Gwendolyn spends time playing pretend and imagining that she has a lot of friends to play with.<br />
  22. 22. Gwendolyn’s not the only one playing. Mimi discovers just how fun having a trampoline in the backyard can be…<br />
  23. 23. …while Candy continues to find ways to fill her time with work.<br />
  24. 24. Spencer decides to join his father and his younger half-brother Nicky on the couch.<br />
  25. 25. Strangely enough, they are all tuned in to the romance channel.<br />
  26. 26. And they all seem to be pretty engaged in it. Maybe they are all thinking about the women that they love.<br />
  27. 27. Mimi is definitely thinking about love. She gives Juston a call.<br />
  28. 28. They discuss relationships…<br />
  29. 29. …and children, but<br />
  30. 30. Mimi is not quite sure if Juston is looking to be in a relationship right now.<br />
  31. 31. Cassandra arrives home. Spencer observes while Sam & Cassandra interact. Spencer can see that is father is totally in love. He can’t help but wonder if his dad has ever felt the same way about his mother Candy.<br />
  32. 32. Spencer wants to get to know his brother Nicky. They discuss the fact that Nicky would love to be a star one day.<br />
  33. 33. Spencer talks about his favorite movies.<br />
  34. 34. During their conversation, Spencer finds out that Nicky is struggling in school. Spencer’s genius trait kicks in and he offers to tutor Nicky.<br />
  35. 35. Spencer sees that Nicky is way behind in math, so Spencer does his best to explain the mysteries of Algebra.<br />
  36. 36. Although Cassandra dislikes Spencer’s mother Candy, she cannot help but admire how polite and intelligent Spencer is. <br />
  37. 37. Cassandra is grateful that Spencer has it in his heart to help his brother Nicky out with his school work.<br />
  38. 38. She wishes that she and Candy were on better terms, because she really could use some advice on how to raise such a great son.<br />
  39. 39. Meanwhile, Gwendolyn is on cloud nine at Nakida’s house. <br />
  40. 40. Gwendolyn wonders why Nakida doesn’t have children of her own. She’d make a great mother.<br />
  41. 41. Candy spends time chatting with her old, dear friend Dianne.<br />
  42. 42. And Mimi gets dressed up to celebrate her birthday. She invited Juston to join her, but was disappointed that he was not available.<br />
  43. 43. Mimi decides to begin her celebration at the movies.<br />
  44. 44. Spencer continues to help Nicky out with Algebra.<br />
  45. 45. Nicky is actually beginning to get it.<br />
  46. 46. Gwendolyn and Nakida continue to enjoy a game of chess. Gwendolyn guesses that Nakida usually spends a lot of time alone just like she does. Maybe that’s why they’ve connected so well.<br />
  47. 47. Since everyone is out of the house and otherwise occupied, Candy decides to treat herself.<br />
  48. 48. Candy heads over to the new salon in town. She can use a new look.<br />
  49. 49. Candy talks to the stylist about how she wants a new sophisticated look to fit her age and professional career.<br />
  50. 50. The stylists looks Candy over and discusses possible ideas.<br />
  51. 51. The stylist comes up with a new look for Candy.<br />
  52. 52. Candy decides that she loves her new look. This look fits her well as she prepares to advance to the top of her career and possibly retire in the near future.<br />
