Sims 3 The Pratts (part 13)

  1. 1. The Pratts (part 13): Sunset Valley
  2. 2. Candy is still waiting on her drink at the Art Institute. She considers flirting with the bartender, but there’s something so familiar about him that she stops in her tracks.
  3. 3. She racks her brain trying figure out where she has seen his face before.
  4. 4. He makes a show of preparing her drink, but she pays no attention. She’s busy going through her mental rolodex looking for information on this familiar face.
  5. 5. She studies his face, the lines, the wrinkles and the white hair. This man reminds her of her late Aunt Carmen in her old age. In fact, he looks just like Aunt Carmen.
  6. 6. He places her drink down in front of her.
  7. 7. She takes a sip of her drink and nearly chokes when she realizes who this man is…
  8. 8. Gwendolyn, Spencer and Lydell hop off the bus when it pulls up in front of the Pratt house.
  9. 9. Gwendolyn is all smiles. She has never felt anything like this before. It’s not puppy love that she’s feeling…it’s the great feeling of belonging.
  10. 10. Gwendolyn continues to grin, while Spencer wears the scowl of great dislike.
  11. 11. Spencer sits out on the lawn to do his homework. Gwendolyn and Lydell chat on the front porch.
  12. 12. “I know who you are…”Candy tells the mixologist, remembering a picture that used to hang above the mantle in her parent’s home.
  13. 13. “You’re my long lost uncle Braydon…the one that left town and was never heard from again…” The mixologist looks away and Candy pauses, “but how can that be?” Candy tries to calculate in her head. If this is really her long lost uncle, he would have to be almost a hundred years old…or older. Candy’s mother Yasmin and Aunt Carmen were the youngest of the Murphy children and they passed away long ago.
  14. 14. “How can you be here? What’s going on?” Candy asks frightened. How can Braydon Murphy be standing here looking not much older than she is?
  15. 15. “How can you be standing here?” She repeats. The mixologist finally responds. “I don’t know what you’re talking about. I’ve never heard of this Braydon Murphy,” he says, but his voice sounds unconvincing.
  16. 16. Candy is 100% sure that this is her mother’s brother. But why is he denying it? What does he have to hide?
  17. 17. Candy leaves the matter alone for now, but is determined to get to the bottom of this. Why would Braydon Murphy return to Sunset Valley after so many years and deny who he is?
  18. 18. Candy leaves for home. She has a bit of research to do.
