How do you envision the city of the future?
1. L. How do you envision the city of the future
IE Application: Dick Jenkins
2. DIVISION OF SECTORS
Future cities will be divided in two main sectors apart from each
other in an controlled environment.
Livable Cities
Industrial Cities
3. INDUSTRIAL CITIES
Completely secluded cities with a controlled environment for
protection of the human society. All the production from the
country will be based within these cities. Its infrastructure will be
focused in 3 aspects:
Environmental Security
Procedures.
High Tech facilities with automated
communication.
Robotics interfaces where risk of
human damage exists
4. LIVABLE CITIES
Livable cities will only be an improvement of the already
established cities of the world, especially in their infrastructure.
The evolution of this cities will be focused in 3 different pillars for
its growth:
Green Countries.
Sustainable development.
Hi-Tech Infrastructure
5. LIVABLE CITIES:
GREEN COUNTRY
The use of gardens and parks will be
fundamental for the survival of the city
because of the reduction of CO2
emissions product of the different
industrial cities.
A waste disposal recycling system directly
involved with the reutilization of materials
within different sectors of the city.
Information campaigns in schools and
workplaces for cultivation of a greener
environment and custom youth minds into
taking care of your city.
6. LIVABLE CITIES:
SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT
Every city will have its own drinkable
water system. Based on the
reutilization of water disposal and
turning them into available and
drinkable water for its inhabitants.
Urban transportation will be increased
and the use of renewable sources of
energy will be acquired.
Most of the energy will come from
renewable sources such as Solar
panels, wind turbines, bio-gas, among
other.
7. LIVABLE CITIES:
HI-TECH INFRASTRUCTURE
The use of smart grids for homes and workplaces will be fundamental. All
type of communication will be wireless and easy accessible for the people.
Both private and public sector will be automated. Traffic estimation and
infrastructure will be automated.
Its infrastructure will be designed for
the comfort of society. Everything
will be simpler to do. Every operation
you wish to do will possible through
Internet.
8. INTERMEDIATE ZONES
Intermediate zones will be the control points between the livable
cities and the industrial cities.
The use of oceans for Industrial cities will be fundamental for its
creation, thus intermediate zones will be those means of
transportation that can reach both cities.
The use of intermediate zones will give easy access for entering
and exiting industrial cities in case of emergencies.
9. CONCLUSIONS
The future cities was only described in its infrastructure, there is
still social, educational, and political issues that can be described
but not for the means of this presentation.
With this brief description, evolution is at hand and will always be.
What we need to make sure is that we evolved in the right way.
Therefore strict plans should taken care into consideration for
future planning of cities where the safety and preservation of our
society should be placed in top priority.
