  3. 3. CAPITAL <ul><li>Yaunde is the political capital of Cameroon since 1922. Yaunde is the second most popular city. In Yaunde there are economic centers. Founded in 1888 by German traders as a basis for trade in ivory and as a research for the farmer. </li></ul>

  7. 7. BIOGRAPHY   PAUL BIYA He is Paul Biya He is the president of Cameroon. He was born 13 – 1933 on February. He is official. In 30-1975 on June, Ahidjo appointed him first minister and vice president of the Cameroonian National Union. In 4-1982 on November, Ahidjo was ill and announced the resignation. Two days after Biya was president. In 14 -1984 on January Biya was confirmed in the presidential elections. In 4 on February the nation was called “Unitary Republic of Cameroon “. Yaoundé was the scene of the XXII Ordinary Assembly of Heads of State and Government of the Organization for African Unity (OAU) from 8 to 10 -1996 on July, in which Biya was elected acting president until June 1997. XXI and the Franco-African Conference, from 17 to 19 – 2001 on January. In another instance, in November 1995 the British Commonwealth Cameroonian admitted the request for membership .
