4. Youth level.
Age limit:15 years
Teaching material: Laws of the Game, rules for 7
a side football, competition regulations and
referees matters.
Where: Courses at the F.A. and visits to clubs.
The course is also avialable on the internet.
License: Referee U-14 and assistant up to U-19.
5. District referee
Teaching material: Technical matters.
Methods: Lectures at the F.A. and visiting
clubs.
Licence: Referee at adult level and lower.
6. D class referees.
Promising or experienced district referees.
Referee in lower divisions and highest youth
level.
Seminars in April and November.
7. Elite Referees
Ranking: A, B and C referees.
A class are in Top division and are specialised.
4 FIFA referees and 7 assistants.
Observers: We try to have an observer on every
match in this group.
Seminar for ABC referees in February, April and
November.
A class referees meet in July and August.
Fitness training and fitness test.
8. Mentor system.
Three former FIFA referees are working with
six referees each for two years.
Five young and promising referees are with
U-17 for one weekend in a training camp.
9. Referee manager at clubs.
