1. "Back On 74" by Jungle appears
to be a song about nostalgia and
longing for the past. The lyrics
evoke a sense of unity and
consistency, symbolized by the
repeated phrase "back on 74."
This could refer to a specific
year or time period that holds
significance to the songwriter.

4. Jungle was founded by Tom McFarland and Josh Lloyd-
Watson. The pair had been friends since they were nine years old,
where they lived next door to each other in Shepherds Bush,
London. They played together within a number of different
groups, one of which, Born Blonde, saw some success. They went
on to form Jungle at the beginning of 2013, choosing to put an
aesthetic emphasis on the music’s surrounding artwork and
videos, and not on the pairs’ own identity. Jungle’s musical style
has been described as “mid-tempo 1970s-style funk”and their
music is intermixed with “tropical percussion, wildlife noises,
falsetto yelps, psychedelic washes and badoinking bass.”
5. Essentially the aim of the video is to show how
nostalgia can sometimes provide a sense of
comfort and emotional stability as when we
experience nostalgia, we often remember the
positive aspects of our past, such as happy
moments, cherished relationships, or significant
achievements. This can create a warm and
comforting feeling, especially during times of
stress, uncertainty, or change. Nostalgia can serve
as a reminder of the good times we have had,
giving us a renewed sense of hope and optimism
for the future.
