 Work–life balance is a concept including proper prioritizing
between "work" (career and ambition) and "lifestyle"(Health,
pleasure, leisure, family and spiritual
development/meditation).
 Work life balance means spending 50% of your time at work
and 50% of your time at home.
 Work life balance occurs when individuals with a finite
amount of mental, physical and emotional resources allocate
those resources in way that corresponds their personal and/or
professional goals.
 Competition.
 Individual Career Ambition.
 Global Economy.
 Longer Working Hours.
 International Business.
 Other Reasons.
1. Surveys of employees’ work/life issues.
2. Seminars on work/life balance.
3. Provide Flextime.
4. Job sharing.
5. Sponsoring employees’ family-oriented activities.
6. A formal leave policy.
7. Paid childbirth or adoption leave.
8. Allow employees to take leave for community service.
9. Allow working from home.

II) TCS:
In addition to offering flexi time with mandatory hours
of work and a five day week conducts sessions on nutrition,
stress management and better living conditions.
III) SHELL:
a) flexi time.
b) work from home
IV) ZENSAR TECHNOLOGIES:
Provides child care facilities along with crèche and has a
well-known programme called ‘madat online’. This service is
offered to employees to take care of their daily personal
activities like dropping cheques, paying children’s school fees,
cash withdrawal etc. Employees are given information on
housing and educational facilities for children. The company
regularly arranges stress management programs, fun at work,
family days aimed at employee work life balance.

  • 2.  Work–life balance is a concept including proper prioritizing between "work" (career and ambition) and "lifestyle"(Health, pleasure, leisure, family and spiritual development/meditation).  Work life balance means spending 50% of your time at work and 50% of your time at home.  Work life balance occurs when individuals with a finite amount of mental, physical and emotional resources allocate those resources in way that corresponds their personal and/or professional goals.
