I started my career practicing law. After three years at a firm, I decided "this is not for me." I knew I wanted to run my own business one day so figured I'd better learn how to sell. I went to Costa Rica for 6 weeks to learn Spanish and go surfing every day. While on the beach I read "Rich Dad, Poor Dad," in which Robert Kiyosaki says that everyone should go into sales to get over their fear of rejection.
