  2. 2. What Is Digital Etiquette… <ul><li>Digital etiquette is the rules you should follow while using the internet. It is how you act when you talk to someone on the internet, because the other person cant always know what you actually mean. </li></ul><ul><li>Digital Etiquette is used by different people all over the world. </li></ul>
  3. 3. Good Etiquette… <ul><li>Good etiquette is when you “treat people how you wish to be treated” </li></ul><ul><li>Treat people with respect and be nice to them on the computer and in reality </li></ul>
  4. 4. Bad Etiquette… <ul><li>Being rude and saying mean things to people represents bad etiquette </li></ul><ul><li>Hacking computers, downloading illegal things and plagiarism, cyber-bullying, are all bad digital etiquette. </li></ul>

Why Do We Use Digital Etiquette? <ul><li>We use digital etiquette because when we use the internet, we want to act appropriately and respectful to people online. </li></ul><ul><li>Another reason for using digital etiquette is so people won’t hate us in person if we were really rude online. </li></ul>
  6. 6. Elementary School… <ul><li>Nowadays kids in grades 4 and 5 have mobile phones and their own laptops. It is good they have mobile phones but they should know how to use it appropriately. </li></ul><ul><li>Although it can be dangerous for children this young to use devices like this. </li></ul><ul><li>They should not have their own laptops either because it is not safe. </li></ul>
  7. 7. Adults <ul><li>It is adults responsibility to be grown up and to educate their children about etiquette and behavior online. </li></ul><ul><li>Adults also need to be mature and not to abuse their knowledge of technology. </li></ul>
