If you are having difficulty coping with stress, you will find the followingtips helpful.1. Take some deep breaths.Breathe in and breathe out slowly until you calm down. When youare stressed, this technique does work and it is also proven to lower blood pressure.2. Be optimistic, assertive and confident. Do you often find yourself down in the dumps in anegative pessimistic vile mood? Well guess what? You are not alone. The key here is to bepositive – however like all good things in life this takes practice.3. Start exercising. Go walking, join a gym or aerobics class etc. Instead of punching walls,regular exercise is an excellent way to blow off steam in a healthy way.4. If possible assign some of your work overload to other people. Have family members helpwith the chores, hire a painter, pay the neighbors kid to cut your grass and so on – do whatever ittakes to relieve some of the stress and burden in your life.5. Turn on the stereo – Listen to your favorite music. As they say music tames the savage beast.Listening to music should help you unwind and soothe your cookednerves. Watch a comedy movie – laughing is good for the soul and will help relieve your stressand pent up energy.By applying these stress management tips you should be able to take control of stressfulsituations.
