  4. 4. Characteristics of an AthleteDesire – We put this first for a reason, nothing on thislist matters without desire or passion to be the bestyou can be. A desire to always improve, to compete, towin. A burning desire that keeps you up at night.
  5. 5. Determination – The refusal to quit or acceptdefeat. Persistence to keep getting up everytime you fall down and knowing that yourwillingness to practice harder than anyone elsewill lead you to your success.

  7. 7. Attitude – Last but not least, your attitude in anythingyou do will determine your success. Positive attitudeswill separate you from the rest. Have you ever noticedhow many people around you are negative and arealways complaining? Be the opposite and always take apositive view on things and if you think positive in yourathletic career, positive things will happen.
