Main Aims for today <ul><li>Go through Milestone feedback </li></ul><ul><li>Outline the proposed programme for the year and discuss intentions/ reasons it is planned things this way </li></ul><ul><li>Discuss cluster commitment to AR, link to appraisal (see Cluster goals and Success Indicators) </li></ul><ul><li>Discussion -on best use facilitator time and how the roles of the principals, LT and teachers can contribute to the success of AR and the cluster goals. </li></ul><ul><li>Go over some techie things which could enhance communication and feedback within the cluster </li></ul><ul><li>Have the management meeting </li></ul>

Milestone Feedback <ul><li>You have 5 minutes to discuss the themes, ideas, points made by Jill in your particular part of the Milestone Feedback document. </li></ul><ul><li>Then each pair will summarise the main themes and lead a discussion with the group based on these main points. </li></ul>

Remembering that all teachers this year will be involved in their Action Research therefore working on different things. </li></ul>

Teaching as inquiry Diagram from the Revised NZ Curriculum “ Probably nothing within a school has more impact on students in terms of skills development, self confidence, or classroom behaviour than the personal and professional growth of their teachers.” (Barth, 1990). “ The primary benefit of reflective practice for teachers is a deeper understanding of their own teaching style and ultimately greater effectiveness as a teacher.” (Ferraro, pg 4)
