  5. 6. no, not that kind of drink (though to be fair, it is 5 o’clock somewhere)

  9. 10. or decaf (...you know who you are)
  10. 11. mmm... chai latte
  11. 12. it relaxes your vocal cords
  12. 13. don’t blow it
  13. 14. so blow it before you start (you don’t want to sound stuffy, McSnifflesALot)
  14. 15. breathe
  15. 16. You don’t want to sound like you’ve run out of breath by the end of the sentence (scripting shorter sentences helps prevent this)
  16. 17. practice
  17. 18. not that practice...
  18. 19. read through your script out loud (writing for print sounds different than for recording; your ear catches the differences by practicing out loud)
  19. 20. breathe don’t rush things. blow clear everything out. yawn stretch those muscles. drink coat your throat. Practice read before record.
