- 5. Fraction has 2 numbers. Number above the line is called NUMERATOR and the number below the line is called DENOMINTOR. Ex. In fraction 1/8 1 is numerator and 8 is denominator.
- 6. EQUIVALENT FRACTIONS

Two or more fractions whose lowest term is same are called equivalent fractions.

- 7. LIKE FRACTIONS

Fractions having same denominators are called like fractions.

- 8. UNLIKE FRACTIONS

Fractions having different denominators are called unlike fractions.

- 9. UNIT FRACTIONS

A fraction with numerator 1 is called a unit fraction.

- 10. PROPER FRACTIONS

If the numerator of fraction is less than the denominator. Such fractions are called proper fractions .

- 11. IMPROPER FRACTIONS

If the numerator of fraction is greater than or equal to the denominator. Such fractions are called improper fractions.

- 12. MIXED NUMBERS

The fractions like & are are called mixed numbers .

- 15. IMPROPER FRACTION INTO MIXED NUMBERS
- 17. ADDITION OF FRACTIONS WITH LIKE DENOMINATORS
- 19. ADDITION OF FRACTIONS WITH UNLIKE DENOMINATORS
- 21. MULTIPLICATION OF FRACTIONS
- 22. DIVISION OF FRACTIONS
