Social Media is one of those things - it seems so easy on the off-set. Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram - post a few things and engage & connect with our users. However, it is often brimming with unviewed posts, no comments and the feeling - is anyone listening? Is this worth it?
During this two part class, we will focus on targeting specific audiences via social media, creating an effective social media schedule and how to gather and use analytics to improve your library’s social media presence. We will also explore promoted posts - the pros and the cons. Attendees will be asked to evaluate their current social media strategy during these two workshops.
