9 shot frame

  1. 1. Here is a bird’s eye view long shot of a female, which is used very effectivelybecause it shows the open space that she is vulnerable to. As no one is aroundand it is a female that could be in danger it sticks to the usual conventions of ahorror. Here is a point of view shot from the female; this shows an object of some kindhas been left on the floor and with the fog in the back if the shot and the darkmysterious woods to the right the fact that an object is their makes you feelnervous.
  2. 2. This is a very low camera shot which shows the female walking towards theobject, which we learn to be a glove. As there is a glove in this surrounding itmakes you think that something has happened to someone, which could meandanger. Here is a over the shoulder long shot of a mysterious young boy that gives theaudience the feeling of being uncomfortable as you don’t know who he is andbecause of the surrounding he means danger.
  3. 3. Here is a close up and a cut away to the boy’s hands and from the earlier prop ofthe glove you can see that it belongs to him because he has the same glove andone is missing.Once again here is a over the shoulder long shot of a weird looking dog that iswearing a mask, this really rattles the audience because this is who the boy wasso the fact that he has changed into a dog shows that she is in danger.
  4. 4. Here is a medium shot of the mask that has now left the dog and is now in thewoods on the floor. The fact that it is now on the floor shows that the dog mayhave changed formation to something else. Here is a close up of something that is buried in the mud, as she starts diggingthe mud up you feel more vulnerable to the fact that something is going tohappen to the woman.
  5. 5. Here is a close up of what was buried in the mud and as she gets deeper andcloser towards the doll its eyes open and this makes the audience feel veryuncomfortable at what they have just seen.
