TIANJIN CHINA (2002) <ul><li>Confucius Institute was Annual meeting sponsor </li></ul><ul><li>Led partnership with SC Children’s Theatre for MULAN JR community education activities </li></ul><ul><li>Provided 3 interns from Clemson University’s Center for China Studies (YuanYuan Fang, Qinze Yu, Sijie Dong </li></ul><ul><li>Shared support for visit by Consular for China, Chinese programs in our schools, Export Business to China program and Performance Troupe from Xiamen University, China.  </li></ul><ul><li>Supported all GSCI activities including Children’s Museum event, Framework taskforce and Youth Diplomacy programs </li></ul><ul><li>Provided country assistance to for Dr. Chirinjev Peterson for a partnership trip to China </li></ul><ul><li>Launched 2012 planning structure including future delegation visits </li></ul>Partnered with the Greenville Chinese Community Association (GCCA), led by Danian Zheng and SC Children’s Theatre for the MULAN performances (huge effort) Provided large additional donor to support GSCI overhead Provided 3 exceptional interns through the Center for China Studies and Clemson University Provided sole sponsorship of a GSCI annual meeting Was represented at all the Board meetings Participated and supported other GSCI activities including Children’s Museum event, Framework taskforce and Youth Diplomacy programs Provide special release information to our Board members about important local China activities in our community including program by the Consular for China, Chinese programs in our schools, Export Business to China program and Performance Troupe is coming from Xiamen University, China.  Assisted our member Dr. Chirinjev Peterson as she prepared for an educational partnership trip to China as well as others for whom I did not keep records Considered GSCI as a primary source of city partnership for additional ideas
