Past Performance Project Name: Global Transportation Network (GTN) Pre-Planned Product Improvement (P3I) Program Customer: USTRANSCOM/Lockheed Martin Information Systems and Global Services (IS&GS) Place of Performance: Scott AFB, IL; O’Fallon, IL; Robins AFB, GA Project Description: GTN is a state-of-the-art, secure, Web-based command and control system to support the evolution of the Defense transportation mission in meeting the changing needs of the U.S. military worldwide. The system provides aggregated information such that the Secretary of Defense, combatant commanders, USTRANSCOM (single manager), and other transportation information customerscan plan, have visibility of, make decisions on, and execute the transportation mission. GTN interfaces with commercial transportation carriers, such as long-haul trucking companies that transport Defense cargo, and DOD feeder systems, and transmits millions of transactions daily through the system network. Lockheed Martin is responsible for legacy system maintenance and sustainment until GTN’s replacement, the DLA Integrated Data Environment (IDE)/GTN Convergence (IGC), reaches full operational capability. Additionally, Lockheed Martin is responsible for maintenance and sustainment of the GTN Pre-Planned Product Improvement (P3I) data warehouse until IGC spiral development begins.
