  10. 10. The Panels – Harnessing the Sun <ul><li>It all beings with solar panels. </li></ul><ul><li>I mounted two 120 watt / 24 volt solar arrays to the roof of my cabin. They face south for maximum exposure to the sun. </li></ul><ul><li>Each array measures approximately 4 feet high and 2 feet wide. </li></ul><ul><li>Note the black solar array wire carrying the sun’s energy to the rest of my system inside the cabin. </li></ul>
