YouROK Short Description : YouROK delivers a positive emotional health platform to help kids, families and professionals prevent the onset of mental health issues and build healthier families Detail : YouROK is a platform designed to disrupt the adolescent mental health industry through prevention. It includes K’Bro an app that builds emotional resilience while measuring deterioration in emotional well-being to proactively offer targeted treatment exactly at the moment it is needed. Using deep learning to assess emotional health YouROK keeps parents and professionals tuned to the child’s mental health through a dashboard and alerts. Presented by: Patrina Mack
  2. 2. AccuBio Short Description : AccuBio personalizes depression treatment by augmenting clinical decisions with artificial intelligence. Detail : 1 in 8 adolescents suffers from major depression. Diagnosing depression and finding the right antidepressant in this age is a challenge, resulting in months of ineffective treatment or even suicide. AccuBio combines a mobile app for patients, to understand and track their symptoms, and software assisting doctors to find personalized medication, based on symptoms, neuroimaging and blood biomarkers.   3. 3. reFit Systems Short Description : reFit Systems - We digitize therapy processes. Detail : reFit Systems GmbH is a Munich-based startup, specialized in digital health solutions with a focus on gamification of rehabilitation processes. reFit Systems provides the first digital therapy platform for individual rehabilitation - reFit Gamo. It combines motion-controlled video games with software for therapy monitoring, biofeedback, and automated medical analysis and creates this way a completely new approach for inpatient, outpatient and home therapy.   4. 4. CAMAG Short Description : Fully automated health biomarker and illicit drug analysis from a single dried blood spot. Detail: What started as the full automation of the newborn screening program soon showed the potential to be transferred into other fields of modern health care. The dried blood spot technology, where only one blood droplet applied onto a filter paper is needed, was transferred to screen health care biomarkers and to detect long term nicotine, alcohol (novel marker found!) and illicit drug abuse.   5. 5. the virtual doctors Short Description : the Virtual Doctors is at the intersection of technology and medicine, providing user-friendly solutions for pressing problems in the healthcare sector of the developing world. Detail : At the intersection of technology and medicine, the Virtual Doctors tele-medicine application provides a device loaded with our specially designed app to healthcare professionals working in remote rural areas. Healthcare Professionals are often isolated professionally from their colleagues and due to this isolation can make wrongful diagnosis or unnecessary referrals. Medical professionals, utilizing our technology, are able to get a second opinion on non-emergency cases by submitting pertinent clinical data through our secure application. A volunteer doctor in either the UK or Zambia reviews the case and within 24 hours offers diagnostic and treatment advice. We have more than 100 volunteer specialist doctors on our register from 24 medical specialties. Our solution is located primarily in government healthcare centers and since inception, we have catered the solution with the understanding that we want to provide healthcare facilities with an easy to use mentorship/referral tool. Zoundream Short Description. : Intelligent cry sound recognition systems for baby-caring Detail : A newborn cry sound embodies a great amount of information about baby’s needs, physical emotion, and potential pathological status. In Zoundream, we use artificial intelligence and sound recognition to translate newborn’s cries sounds, into baby’s actual needs and status.   7. 7. Video Occulograph PROBLEM: According to Ministry of Health data every third needs vision correction, 7% of children and 4% of total adult population suffer strabismus. The number of children in the world with strabismus under the age of 14 is 182.9 million, in Europe - 7.58 million, in CIS - 4.97 million. To date the problem of strabismus among children has acquired a mass character. In every maternity hospital an innate form of pathology for every 50th baby is revealed. Treatment of nystagmus and strabismus at the same time is still in 95% of cases performed only by surgical procedures and well-known methods of preoperative registration of involuntary eye movements based on use of methods of electro-oculography or photoelectric nystagmography don’t give objective quantitative characteristics of such movements, defect of nystagmus according to statistics can return in 6 -12 months even after successful surgery but lack of treatment at the same time leads to loss of visual acuity up to blindness. SOLUTION: VideoOculograph allows to solve this problem. VideoOculograph is the first complex eye tracking solution on base of AI, computer vision and machine learning for contactless high accurate computer video diagnostics of several diseases (neurological disorders, inner ear diseases, vision pathologies) by spontaneous eye movements and pupils’ reaction and non-invasive treatment of eye pathologies such as nystagmus and strabismus avoiding any risks from the surgical treatment techniques or further long rehabilitation period. Now it became possible to conduct the diagnostics and treatment under the supervision of doctor for the patient from every point of the world by means of telemedicine approaches. For this it is just enough for the patient to send through our platform the video of eyes from at least 120 fps camera and he’ll receive the protocol with diagnostic data.
  8. 8. Breathe - Asthma App Short Description : We help parents of children with asthma. Detail : "Breathe" aims to improve quality of life for families with young children affected by asthma. It does so by: 1) teaching parents and children about asthma; 2) guiding them through adopting best practices in managing asthma; 3) helping parents decide on suitable activities given their child’s specific asthma situation and presence of trigger factors in the environment. Detail : Worldwide more than half a billion people suffer from some form of physical impairment, and yet there is no easy, effective and affordable way to measure the level of disability. This capability is crucial to managing this disease burden, as a component of novel therapeutics and to measure their effect. Detail : HowAmI will be a symptom monitoring platform suitable for daily use by sick children and their families. It will be highly acceptable and easy to use, interactive with a low completion burden, modular and customizable supporting personalized data collection according to age group and diagnosis, configured to safeguard data security while being interoperable with electronic patient record systems. Detail : Based on the daily activity and food tracking, and integration with smart devices if available, Wello advises parents with a personalized meal plan generated automatically, based on the work of our nutrition experts. We offer a digital platform with certified information and based on user location, we can recommend restaurants, diets, products.   13. 13. eTOMO Short Description : A tomography device for analyzing brain activity at sub-millisecond resolution Detail : Listening in on the communication between brain regions with sub-millisecond resolution is the key to identifying damaged brain networks or misfiring regions. This allows for higher precision in seizure localization as well as in diagnosing and monitoring the progression of multiple sclerosis – for the benefit of patients and in clinical trials. HomeAfterNICU Short Description : HomeAfterNICU is a mobile health application designed to support parents after NICU discharge, increase their readiness for discharge and level of self-efficacy and decrease rates of unplanned use of health services post-discharge Detail : Every year, an estimated 15 million infants are born preterm (more than 1 in 10), and this number is rising. In high-income countries, survival rate of these infants has significantly increased and thus ever more parents care for these complex infants that are often admitted to the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU). These parents need specific support to help them transitioning from the NICU to home and beyond, which we will provide through the HomeAfterNICU app. Presented by: Laura Rio
