  8. 8. When I see a colour or hear a sound, I am aware of something, andnot of nothing.

  11. 11. I LIKE THE NATURAL ELEMENTSTHAT ABSTRACT INTO LIGHT,TEXTURE , SHAPE, ANDSHADOW.
  12. 12. Little moments can have a feeling and a texture that is very real.
  13. 13. I search for the realness, the real feeling of a subject, all the texture around it... I always want to see thethird dimension of something... I want to come alive with the object.

  15. 15. A PAINTING IS A SYMBOL FOR THE UNIVERSE. INSIDE IT, EACH PIECE REL ATES TO THE OTHER. EACH PIECE ISONLY ANSWERABLE TO THE REST OF THAT LITTLE WORLD. SO, PROBABLY IN THE TOTAL UNIVERSE, THERE IS THAT KIND OF TOTAL HARMONY, BUT WE GET ONLY LITTLE TASTES OF IT.
  16. 16. IT IS ONCE AGAIN THE VEXING PROBLEM OF IDENTITY WITHIN VARIETY ; WITHOUT A SOLUTION TO THIS DISTURBING PROBLEM THERE CAN BE NO SYSTEM, NO CLASSIFICATION.
  17. 17. THE GROUND WE WALK ON, THE PLANTS AND CREATURES, THE CLOUDS ABOV E CONSTANTLYDISSOLVING INTO NEW FORMATIONS - EACH GIFT OF NATURE POSSESSING ITS OWN RADIANT ENERGY, BOUND TOGETHER BY COSMIC HARMONY.
  18. 18. A MAN IS HINDERED AND DISTRACTED IN PROPORTION AS HE DRAWS OUTWARD THINGS TO HIMSELF.
  19. 19. I WASNT A CHEERLEADER OR THE PROM QUEEN. I DONT MOVE THROUGH THEWORLD WITH A MIRROR IN FRONT OF MYFACE, AND IVE NEVER BEEN ATTRACTED TO PROJECTS THAT HAD AN EMPHASIS ON WHAT I LOOK LIKE.
  20. 20. ART IS THE IMPOSING OF A PATTERN ON EXPERIENCE, AND OUR AESTHETIC ENJOYMENT IS RECOGNITION OF THE PATTERN.
  21. 21. THE UNIVERSE IS ASYMMETRIC AND I AM PERSUADED THAT LIFE, AS IT IS KNOWN TO US , IS A DIRECT RESULT OF THE ASYMMETRY OF THE UNIVERSE OR OF ITS INDIRECT CONSEQUENCES.
  22. 22. THE UNIVERSE IS BUILT ON A PLAN THE PROFOUND SYMMETRY OF WHICH IS SOMEHOW PRESENT IN THE INNER STRUCTURE OF OUR INTELLECT.
