Using the NMC K-12 Horizon Report Goals: • Introduce the NMC, Horizon Report (HR) • Discuss how the HR can (should!) be a guide for creating/checking your plan • Get you involved in the process, make this a collaborative effort • Cover at least one category here so that you can do the rest at your school

Using the NMC K-12 Horizon Report • Your school is a business, with customers (parents, students) • Ideally, think in terms of serving your customers to the best of your ability • Or, think of the HR as intelligence re: what your competitors are offering • Choice between a school with a STEAM program or one without…?

  10. 10. Using the NMC K-12 Horizon Report Steps: 1. Distribute the HR to teachers and administrators 2. Ideally, give a presentation on the report to everybody 3. Use collaboration (with the right people!) to create/check your plan 4. Include regular progress milestones
