other business, but here's the shocker, you do not need to become a super hard closer, but you do

Business Recruiting with Desperation will Damage Your
Business
Most marketers are in the mindset when it comes to business recruiting to spread the word to as
many people as possible (which is good), to put the feelers out and see if they are interested in
what your offering (still good) and then become green eyed monsters, doing whatever they can to
sign them up (I stopped thinking it's good).
There is a mind shift with desperation, desperate people never get what they are after, just try
and be insecure in your relationship for instance, or getting a loan from a bank because you
"desperately" need the money, it just won't come to terms with you. Ahhhh... but when you
yourself "Value" your own time is when you appear of value to others, you do not get there by
desperation or chasing people down. When you do you appear of no value to others.
2. Develop your Business Recruiting Skills - Become the Qualifying Jedi Knight
You never need to chase people, it's just not the way things should ever be done to achieve your
success.
If you encounter someone who is skeptical or even gets nasty with you when you present your
business to them, Halt, Cease and Desist on trying to be the one who is right, or participating in
an argument about your own sanity and simply and calmly, walk away... keep your power intact.
When someone becomes standoffish and nasty, they are attempting to take your control and
power away. When that happens you will question your own beliefs. Most will let it happen
because they did not either have a strong enough belief to begin with or are "Desperate".
Here’s an example conversation that I actually learned from Ray Higdon:
You: Hey, just curious, would you be open to a side project if it didn’t interfere with what you
are currently doing?
Prospect: Is it network marketing?
You: Yeah, why?
Prospect: Those things are pyramid schemes and people that do them are total idiots! (as they
check their watch to see when their lunch break is over to go back to the job they hate)
You: Cool bro, not a fit for you, I get it, hey man, I gotta run but catch ya later!
Prospect: ? (wonders why you didn’t get mad or sad and now wonders if they are missing out on
something)
NEVER, EVER LOSE YOUR POWER. Never get defensive and try to convince others that you
or your business is legitimate, this is a powerful suggestion to the other persons subconscious.
Train your power, don't try and make your business recruiting about proving the other person
wrong. Show them you are above that level and march on to the beat of your passion without
3. seeking approval. When you learn this your business recruiting will shoot through the roof not to
mention how good you will feel about yourself.
