  2. 2. BIOGRAPHY• Vincent Willem van Gogh was born on 30 March of one thousand eight hundred and fifty-three, in the south of the Netherlands. He died on July 29,one thousand nine teen at the age of 37, in France. The central figure in his life was his brother Theo.
  3. 3. Vincent van Gogh• In one 1885 he painted his first major work The Potato Eaters
  4. 4. Vincent van Gogh• The quality of his work was recognized only after his death considered one of the great masters of painting. He had a great influence on XX century art, especially among the German Expressionists. He suffered frequent bouts of mental illness throughout his life, which led him to cause a bullet wound that killed him.

  6. 6. Vincent van Gogh• 1886 moved to Paris to live with his brother Theo, who warned with this simple note: "Ill be in the Louvre since noon, or earlier if you wish." Theo, who works in Boussod & Valadon, he discovered the works of Impressionism Vincent, resulting in a brighter palette, where color would play a key role in the rest of his work. During the following two years, the two brothers had multiple frictions and always had to be ceded and Theo who forgive.
