Many CFO’s mention how their IT organisations have spent nearly a decade investing in new ERP systems with little tangible evidence of financial return.
SAP is investing in new areas such as mobile, cloud, analytics – all hot topics that organisations are told will provide competitive advantage and differentiation in the future.
But many SAP customers are still reliant on long established, on-site, ERP systems.
Many of these systems have not been updated to the latest level software and associated best practice business processes and are not well optimized and standardised.
As a result they are not positioned to deliver their full potential in terms of business value and ROI and will not be able to deliver the full benefits of new developments such as cloud, mobile and in-memory analytics.
