Our Mission Statement <ul><li>The Luv Shack Ranch Horse Rescue is a  non-profit, all volunteer organization dedicated to the rescue and rehabilitation of abused, neglected and slaughter bound horses with the ultimate goal of finding each animal a loving, forever home.  </li></ul><ul><li>Additionally, we are committed to creating therapeutic programs for at risk children to help them heal from similar circumstances.  </li></ul><ul><li>Our goal is to serve the community by providing the opportunity for the horse and children to heal one another physically, mentally and emotionally. </li></ul>

Vibrato <ul><li>2 year old Mustang Pony </li></ul><ul><li>Rescued from a Mexican Rodeo </li></ul><ul><ul><li>We think he was used for “horse tripping” </li></ul></ul><ul><li>Took 3 days to load him into a trailor </li></ul><ul><li>Lived in very hazardous conditions </li></ul><ul><li>Now he comes when you call and has been saddled </li></ul>

Dancer <ul><li>Vibrato’s Mother </li></ul><ul><li>Gave birth to Scout </li></ul><ul><ul><li>On the day this was taken 3/22/09 </li></ul></ul><ul><li>Came from “horse tripping” ranch </li></ul><ul><li>Lived in very hazardous conditions </li></ul><ul><li>Is learning to trust people </li></ul><ul><li>LOVES to have her butt scratched </li></ul>

Lady <ul><li>Quarter Horse mare </li></ul><ul><li>Had been severely neglected </li></ul><ul><ul><li>Foot problems </li></ul></ul><ul><li>Had to be humanely euthanized </li></ul><ul><ul><li>Was in severe pain </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Could not even walk </li></ul></ul><ul><li>We believe in humane euthanasia for those that cannot be saved </li></ul>

The Horses <ul><li>Rescue abused, neglected and/or slaughter-bound horses </li></ul><ul><li>Provide immediate medical care for sick or injured horses </li></ul><ul><li>Provide on-going rehabilitation for rescued horses </li></ul><ul><li>Provide a safe haven for rescued horses that are unadoptable </li></ul><ul><li>Adopt rehabilitated horses out to safe, loving, forever homes </li></ul><ul><li>Guarantee humane euthanasia for animals with untreatable pain or suffering </li></ul>

The Children <ul><li>Encourage emotionally, mentally and physically handicapped and at risk children and adults through equine interaction </li></ul><ul><li>Build knowledge, respect and healing for them alongside the rehabilitated horse </li></ul><ul><li>Promote direct involvement with programs designed specifically for these children and adults. </li></ul>
