Project GOAL Facts and Accomplishments <ul><li>Serviced over 250 children since 2004. </li></ul><ul><li>Work with kids from Providence, Pawtucket, and Central Falls. </li></ul><ul><li>Recognized by the United States Soccer Foundation as a “Best Practice” program using soccer for youth development in underserved areas. </li></ul><ul><li>Curriculum subject for Masters in Sports Industry Management program at Georgetown University. Part of subject on corporate social responsibility in sports, Project GOAL's concept is explored as an example of sports as a vehicle for social change. </li></ul><ul><li>14 latino children, male and female, currently on scholarship in area private schools through Project GOAL. </li></ul><ul><li>1 child selected to represent the United States National Soccer Team for the Under 14 Boys Division. </li></ul>

Facts and Accomplishments Continued <ul><li>Send high school age students every summer to youth leadership training and certification in Washington D.C. and Philadelphia </li></ul><ul><li>Partnered 45 students for reading program with Rhode Island College Masters in Education candidates over the past 3 years. </li></ul><ul><li>Receive visits from members of Brown University, Providence College, New England Revolution, and Boston Breaker players as role models and mentors. </li></ul><ul><li>Member of StreetFootballWorld Network (FIFA Recognized) </li></ul><ul><li>Will Receive Federal Grant For Anti-Gang Prevention in 2010/2011 From Department of Justice (Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Programs) </li></ul>
