  2. 2. What is Photography? The art or process of producing images of objects on photosensitive surfaces “Beauty can be seen in all things, seeing and composing the beauty is what separates the snapshot from the photograph” – Matt Hardy

Basic Terminology Aperture – The size of the opening of the lens which the f/16 amount of light that enters the camera by size• Small Aperture = Bigger number (F/16)• Big Aperture = Smaller number (F/1.8) f/5.6 Shutter – Determines the amount of light that enters the camera by time f/2.8• Fast Shutter = Smaller number (1/500 second)• Slow Shutter = Bigger number (1/60 second)

  20. 20. What I like about Photography Basically anybody can do it It helps me take my mind off things sometimes Gives me a way to express myself, similar to a person who plays an instrument or draws I like the feeling of satisfaction when I see a perfect image appear on the back of my camera
