The Newest release of Synaptica V7.1 will include this new Auto Match. The new Term AutoMatch tool will allow for the comparison of terms between two distinct Object Classes (vocabularies) and automatically perform a "mapping" between terms where there is a match based on whole or part of the term descriptions. - 1. Synaptica: AutoMatch Tool Overview New Version 7.1 Feature- Due out: July 2009 by: [email_address] (Synaptica Product Manager) [email_address] (Business Development Manager, Synaptica and Taxonomy Services)
- 3. Select Two Object Classes (Vocabularies) Select Object Classes from existing vocabularies loaded in system
- 4. Select Mapping Types (see next slides for definitions) and Relationship Type Select Relationship Type for Term Matching
- 5. Select Mapping Types (see next slides for definitions) and Relationship Type Select Match Types to Display
- 10. Review Results Summary Download Matches to edit offline and re-import or Review and Apply Matches online via the browser
- 13. Reviewing Matches Online Remove undesired matches by clicking delete [del]
- 14. Reviewing Matches Online Synonym matching allows for matching between “preferred” and “non-preferred” terms, finding matches using synonyms that might otherwise be missed. Preferred Terms will be linked For ‘Match occurs on Synonym
