  2. 2. Biography• Born February 8th, 1902.• Visionary figure in nature photography.• Known for his signature black and white photographs.• Working in Yosemite helped him realize his appreciation for nature.• Passed away on April 22nd, 1984, at age of 82.

  5. 5. Importance• Adams photographs are well recognized for the black-and-white shots.• His photos inspire an appreciation for natural beauty.• In 1980 Adams got the Presidential Medal of Freedom, for his efforts to capture and savor the pictures of nature in it’s best of times.
