  15. 15.  Tell Time To __________________ in the past.  Ejemplos: Eran las tres cuando llegaron. It was 3:00 when they arrived.Verbo importante: ser ¿Qué hora era? What time was it?  Nota: Do NOT confuse this with an action that happened at a specific time (preterite). In this case, you are actually telling the time using the verb “ser” in the imperfect.
  16. 16. Comparación con la hora…Imperfecto:  Eran las 2:00 de la tarde.  It was two in the afternoon.Pretérito:  Yo vine al colegio a las 2:00 de la tarde.  I came to school at 2:00 in the afternoon.
