  • What does the market look like today?How have I assessed the potential?How am I different from other players – Today? How do I want to be different?What of the software development community – is that where the opportunity lies?
  • What is the competitive market?Who are the key players?Are they like me?What is the traditional vendor doing (HP, IBM, Dell, Cap Gemini, Dimension Data, NCS, etc..)? What about these emerging “new providers” (Apple, Google, Sony, Samsung)? Are App’ Stores relevant?
  • When I am the provider, what do I want to offer?What is my unique positioning?&amp; What does the market and customer data tell me? Where should I focus? Short, Mid and Long Term? How long will it take for me to reap dividends?
  • Build it based on a model that’s been used before, and potentially provenBalanced against the risks of being at the pointy end
