PRINTER (general) <ul><li>Printers take text and image from a computer and print them on paper or on another medium. </li></ul><ul><li>Dot-matrix printers use tiny wires to impact upon an inked ribbon to form characters. </li></ul><ul><li>Laser printers employ beams of light to draw images on a drum that then picks up fine black particles called toner. The toner is fused to a page to produce an image. </li></ul><ul><li>Inkjet printers fire droplets of ink onto a page to form characters and pictures. </li></ul>

MECHANISM <ul><li>Assume the computer already on and ready to print some document or image. </li></ul><ul><li>Plug-in the usb cable into the computer port and the printer port. </li></ul><ul><li>Plug-in the power cable into the AC power and the power port in the printer. </li></ul><ul><li>Open the cover of printer. </li></ul><ul><li>Unfold the paper tray. </li></ul><ul><li>Close the cover of printer. </li></ul><ul><li>Turn on the printer by pushing the power switch. </li></ul>
