  1. 1. PKR 547 Billion Circular Debt in Pakistan Pakistan is producing 64% of electricity through thermal sources due to which energy cost in Pakistan has become costlier in the region. Average price of electricity in Pakistan is Rs.13 to Rs.14 per unit as compared to Rs.7 per unit in India. Debt of Energy Sector has Crossed Rs.1 Trillion Transmission and distribution network of Pakistan is quite old due to which T&D losses are increasing.
