Requirements <ul><li>Participants : 20 at most who have learned about 8,000 words or more. </li></ul><ul><li>Passing the GEPT intermediate level </li></ul><ul><li>Being divided into 5 groups. </li></ul><ul><li>Duration time per class : 50 mins. </li></ul><ul><li>Course period : 3 months </li></ul>
  4. 4. Requirements for Teachers <ul><li>Quick treatment on students’ spoken errors </li></ul><ul><li>Clear and correct pronunciation </li></ul>
  5. 5. Objectives <ul><li>Being able to speak with fluency and with accuracy </li></ul><ul><li>Being able to give a delivery impromptu in a conference or seminar </li></ul><ul><li>Being able not to sound bookish </li></ul>

Evaluation <ul><li>Participation 15% </li></ul><ul><li>Collaboration 15% </li></ul><ul><li>Fluency (40%) based on use quickly, confidently, with few hesitations or unnatural pauses , false starts , word searches , etc. </li></ul><ul><li>Accuracy (20%) like word pronunciation , grammatical errors , improper intonation and of course, wrong answers </li></ul><ul><li>Assignment 10% </li></ul>

  10. 10. Rental Contract <ul><li>Setting the rental contract </li></ul><ul><li>1. It shall be for a minimum period of 3 months, from Dec. 10, 2008 to March 9, 2009 . </li></ul><ul><li>2. Lessee promise to pay the sum of $12,000 , payable in 3 monthly installments of $4,000 each month with payment to be made on the first of each month. The first payment including 1-month deposit shall be $8,000 , Dec. 10 . All payments to be made to Landlord in care of the post office . </li></ul><ul><li>3. Lessee shall notify Landlord of any absence from the apartment more than seven (7) days . </li></ul>

Asking for clarification , repetition , or explanation .(5%) 2 . Correct as many errors as you can.(3%) 3 . Errors like word pronunciation , grammatical errors, improper intonation and of course, wrong answers .(3% each) </li></ul>
  12. 12. Assignment <ul><li>Making a speech on an article related to a traffic accident and then post it onto YouTube and what you do to handle the situation. </li></ul>
