Main Aspects of Project <ul><li>Initial Planning : what type of event, when to hold the event, what type of costs, how will we pay for the event, what type of event schedule, and how will we measure success. </li></ul><ul><li>Pre-event activities : determine the type of event, who we expect to participate, obtain corporate pledges for materials, what we will collect, outline collection and sorting activities, select locations, obtain media coverage and publicity, research permit requirements, determine logistics, volunteers, marketing and Ecycling details and select Ecycling providers. </li></ul><ul><li>Day of the event : schedule volunteers, increase advertising, prepare site with necessary tools and equipment, greet residents, collect items, hold press conference, be friendly and line up lunch for volunteers. </li></ul><ul><li>Post Event : plan logistics, who will haul items, where will they haul items to, who will evaluate items, where do the trash verses refurbish items go, volunteers, finances, storage of items, criteria for recycle or refurbish and media follow up. </li></ul><ul><li>Redistribution : obtain media coverage, get the word out, create process for goods to be tracked and matched with the appropriate request for needs, accept requests for items from community, evaluate requests for goods, assign requests and track requests </li></ul>
