  2. 2. Overview <ul><li>The IBM Lotus Connections 3.0 Files Plug-in provides the following features: </li><ul><li>Upload files for your own use or to share with others
  3. 3. Drag and drop a file from your desktop or attached to a Notes e-mail to Files
  4. 4. Send a link to a file
  5. 5. Search for files
  6. 6. Sort files for easier browsing
  7. 7. Open Lotus Connections Files in a browser </li></ul><li>The IBM Lotus Connections 3.0 Files Plug-in supports: </li><ul><li>Lotus Connections 2.5 (latest fixpack)

  9. 9. Lotus Notes 8.5.1 FP5

  11. 11. Installation <ul><li>Download the Plugin from the IBM Business Solution Catalog </li><ul><li>Direct Link </li></ul><li>Shut down your Notes Client
  12. 12. Unzip the file and run Setup </li></ul>
  13. 13. Installation <ul><li>Click Next </li></ul>
  14. 14. Installation <ul><li>Accept the license agreement </li></ul>
  15. 15. Installation <ul><li>This warning will appear regardless if Notes is running </li></ul>
  16. 16. Installation <ul><li>One more time click Install </li></ul>
  17. 17. Installation <ul><li>Sit back and watch the install </li></ul>
  18. 18. Installation <ul><li>Click Finish and restart Lotus Notes </li></ul>
  19. 19. Configuration <ul><li>If you already have Lotus Connections (Activities) configured in Lotus Notes no further action is needed, the server URL and Credentials will be reused for the Status Plugin
  20. 20. If you have not yet configured this you will see the following screen (next slide) </li></ul>
