It relates to the value of syndicated content published onto the KC for the year and is adjusted annually. New contracts and renewals are calculated from the prevailing Base reference price in force at the time. </li></ul><ul><li>The Company specific base price is adjusted to reflect the size of the company and the relevance of the content – this allows a fair price to be reached for both small and major players and which reflects the level of exposure of our intellectual policy. Mergers and acquisitions can significantly affect the company specific base price. </li></ul><ul><li>A variety of licence types are available including Global, Regional, Country, Site and Seat – the price again is adjusted to reflect the licence. In general the wider the licence scope the better the value eg A global licence costs less than buying 3 individual Regional licences) </li></ul>
