Chevrolet Led a team of my peers in the research, development, implementation and presentation of a multi-media advertising campaign built around the release of the redesigned 2008 Chevrolet Malibu in the Mid-Atlantic region. Components of the re-branding campaign included a Website based on User Generated Content, promotional events & “Station Domination” Metro transit media buys structured within a fixed budget. Verizon Center Worked with the Sr. Director of Entertainment in developing a strategy to draw more sports-related special events to the facility. The strategy included the development of strategic alliances with related tourism industry segments & leveraging relationships with the local sports council to create value packages for event promoters.
  15. Washington Redskins In support of the Washington Redskins 75 th Anniversary season, I worked as part of a team to create and present a series of marketable events. The most developed event was a “Campus Rush” tour in which a mobile Redskins museum display, interactive gaming center (including sponsor activations) and player appearances were to be produced in Greater Washington DC universities. Bethesda Big Train (Cal Ripken Sr.) Assisted the general manager in developing a comprehensive marketing plan with the overall goal of increasing ticket sales. In accordance with this goal, the plan called for the creation of a corporate season ticket package as well as a family season ticket package sold as an add-on to the summer camp program. The plan also made recommendations to revise the group sales department.
  16. Interests & Music - It’s Fun, it’s Useful -
  17. 1997: Created C4 Records and released, Free Delivery , a well- reviewed compilation album featuring 12 of San Diego’s best local bands. 1998- 2002: Played drums in and managed the professional band Serial Carpens (later renamed Spanish Bombs). As a band we played nearly 50 concerts a year, released two recorded albums, completed numerous West Coast tours and managed a Website and database. 2001- 2003: Held internships with Taang Records & Surfdog Records. Also served as an Assistant Talent Buyer for Coach House Entertainment where I negotiated performance contracts with established talent agencies and oversaw the local music talent, by booking, scheduling and setting ticket goals.
